Dr. Stacy Schorner, OD, FAAO
Dr. Stacy Schorner, OD, FAAO, originally from Pennsylvania, earned her undergraduate degree from Juniata College and her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She has practiced optometry in the Charlotte area for the past 18 years.
As a medical optometrist, Dr. Schorner brings extensive experience and a strong passion for treating dry eye syndrome using state-of-the-art technology, including TearCare and intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy. She also has significant experience managing conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, ocular allergies, infections, and eye trauma. In addition, she is highly skilled in comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and the co-management of cataract and LASIK surgeries.
Dr. Schorner resides in the Weddington area with her husband and their two active sons, who keep them busy on the lacrosse and football fields. The family also enjoys spending time with their Maltipoo, Canyon. They attend Threshold Church in Matthews. In her free time, Dr. Schorner is an avid traveler, and enjoys staying active through fitness, and playing tennis and pickleball, as well as spending quality time with family and friends.
Dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care, Dr. Schorner is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and lives by the motto, “Treat patients like family.” She is excited to join a practice closer to home, allowing her to once again service her local community.
Dr. Schorner is a member of the North Carolina Piedmont Optometric Society, the North Carolina State Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association. She has also earned the distinguished designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO).
